This mod should be pretty stable.

I have added a number of research topics, see the list below:
-Synaptic Link Mk1
-Synaptic Link Mk2
-Synaptic Link Mk3
-Super Cyborg Technology
-Super Cyborg Production
-Neural Synapse Mk1
-Neural Synapse Mk2
-Neural Synapse Mk3
-Remote Link Technology
Getting close to completion! (kind of)

This is purely to make the research tree a bit more realistic, and to get something new out of the game, it also makes t1, t2, & early t3 last a bit longer. I NEED this balance tested please!

I plan on doing much more with this mod which is why it is in mapping/modding AND showcase-that version is final!

Done List:
-Add Synaptic Link Mk2 & 3 somewhere in the tree. (between each research milestone?)
-Add Super Cyborg Technology topic (SCT requires SLTmk2)
-Add Super Cyborg Production topic (SCP requires SCT)
-Synaptic Link Technology Mk2 will require both Command Turret and Synaptic Link Data Analysis Mk3
-Get rid of Super Cyborgs requiring to be researched individually (Still need to research them, but it takes 5 seconds at most)
-Super Cyborgs require SCP, then they are gained and built just like normal cyborgs. (See above ^)

To Do List:
-Have it eventually lead to Synaptic Link Tanks (new bodies, i need help with blender please)
-Have it eventually lead to t4 somehow (Synap tanks are t4)
-Introduce Quantum Network Research Brain research facility upgrade to unlock t4 research.
-Introduce a Twin Pulse Laser, Heavy plasma Cannon, Heavy Gauss Cannon, Hyper Pulse Laser, Plasma Torpedo Launcher (i need a name for this, please suggest something), Plasma Artillery Site, Laser Satellite Artillery Site, Nuclear Reactor, and Nuclear Missile Silo. Most of this can be found in NTW ironically...
-Introduce Synaptic Light Body: Syn, Synaptic Medium Body: Syna, Synaptic Heavy Body: Synap, and Synaptic Super Heavy Body: Synapse (medium super heavy body, it goes between Wyvern and Dragon)
-Introduce Synaptic Mechs, aka Uber Cyborgs (might be impossible)

Idea credits: black project(SCB's require SLTmk2)

If you encounter any problems please post them! Have ideas? Post them! Also i want comments in general...

Can you make Super Cyborgs require Synaptic Link MK2 to be researchable?

I don't have sure if this make sense, since Super Cyborgs require Dense Composite Alloys + It's weapon variant researched.

I like this Synaptic Link Data research =). I don't mind adding it to official tech tree.

That is a good idea. I will add it to the to do list. Its not hard, i just have to add a new topic called Super Cyborg Technology, which is made available after researching SLmk2, then researching sct allows you to research Super Cyborg production, which will then allow you to build every sup cyborg already available.

Then researching the tank turret will instantly result in the corresponding Borg being ready for production.
In other words... you will no longer be required to research each superborg.

Keep up the ideas!

New version up... 1.6 fixes it so that you can breeze through super cyborg topics. See First post.

This question is aimed at anyone who knows... how do i view warzones .pie's in blender?
How do i make .pie files?

EDIT: Well, at least i like the mod.

The blender python scripts from http://developer.wz2100.net/browser/trunk/tools/blender are still valid right?
I have the latest python for windows and blender, and wz2.3.
I updated the to-do list! See first post!
And could someone delete the posts that say "delete post please"?

EDIT: New Version up: 1.6.1, it fixes balance issues, such as my custom topics being too expensive, they are now cheaper. I also reduced the cost of all command turrets because my topics require them to be researched.

To make .PIE files, you should use PIE Slicer. It's a very simple tool to make some good GFX:

I don't have sure if this might work on your PC, since it doesn't work on Windows Vista, i got working in Windows XP 32 Bits Version, i don't know if it works on 64 Bits OS

Any doubts about the PIE Slicer, ask me :)

I think what he mean was that either the authors did not think their mod was worthy or that they did not know about the add-ons page.
