As we get closer to the end of 2015, we are trying to release a new version.
For the current progress, please see our repo, and see what has changed so far from the last release.
To make this a bit easier, please look here: https://github.com/Warzone2100/warzone2 ... .1.2...3.1

We now have a mac builder!
Former member kaikiai is now doing the mac builds for us, we greatly appreciate his efforts!

Remember, you must all be using the same version of the game to play against each other!
We need the community's help to test these builds, and also report any additional things that are broken that really need to be fixed.
While we can't promise that it will be fixed in time before the next release, we will try.
Thanks again for all the donators that help keep this site, and the game alive, without you, the game would have died a long time ago!
If you wish to be one of the donators, then please visit our donation site.
Note, this thread is mainly for gathering information on these builds, it isn't meant for anything else that doesn't have to do with these builds.
Anything that isn't on topic with these builds will be deleted, so if you don't see your post here anymore, it was either moved or deleted. Sorry about that.

***Builds updated on January 20th
While the previous attempts at fixing the main issue preventing a release seems to have worked, unfortunately, it was also slowing things down too much.
So, I did an alternative patch, which hopefully fixes all the issues.
I would like to thank Berg again for testing!
On that subject, we barely have any testing being done, and only a few people are trying to help.
The rest don't seem to care about testing that much.
Thing is, with such little testing being done now, things are bound to squeak through, and we are trying to make a more stable release...
So, again, if you have a chance, please host a game, or join the games that are being hosted to help us test things out!

Re: Shooting for a 3.1.3 release before the end of the year
Vexed-I want to help as far as i can. But i dont play online. I tested how the AI works. That was the most important for me-and it works here as far as i can tell. But-I remain a little concerned: Selecting the language in the menu is still not working. I can select german, of cause, but it remains english language. Thats all i can say.vexed wrote: On that subject, we barely have any testing being done, and only a few people are trying to help.

But i can well understand, that it is more than frustrating to notice no feedback.

In case the WZ-game ends in a draw , the game winner will be determined by penalty shoot-out.
Re: Shooting for a 3.1.3 release before the end of the year
Your comment was fine, I was mainly talking about the MP side of things, since that is the stuff that is holding back the release.
As far as SP/skirmish goes, it should be more stable (less crashes) than before, but other than that, no real difference that I can think of right now.
To make it more clear for the testers, it all boils down to templates, and how they should NOT desync a game.
Hence, playing a game and creating new & using stored templates is the main thing we are looking at.
