Questions about mac version.

Post by hawkn »

So i got a mac recently. i plan on buying windows and running bootcamp soon, but for now i only have mac osx. So why arent there textures on the ground for the mac version? i noticed a lot of things look different from the pc version. Is there something i did wrong when i downloaded it, or do i have to manually add the textures somehow?

This is a waste of space. Something important should be here.

I don't believe you. Take a screenshot of About This Mac. It should say "Mac OS X 10.6.1"

Here's some Mac info for you.

Each Mac operating system (10.1, 10.2, 10.3, etc) is given a name.
10.1 was Puma, 10.2 was Jaguar, and so on.
Mac OS X Version 10.5.8
You have version 10.5, which is known as Leopard.
10.6, which just came out very recently, is called Snow Leopard. If you want to play Warzone 2.2.2 on your Mac, you're going to have to plop down $29.99 for the upgrade to Snow Leopard, (Major updates usually cost $129) so it's a good deal. I had the same problem as you before I got Snow Leopard. Ever since, Warzone is back to normal.

The Snow Leopard install is quick and painless, I might add.

Or, you could just use Bootcamp. However, I highly recommend only using boot camp for Windows only games. If you can play the same game in Snow Leopard, why would you want to play it in Windows?

You should already know this, but it's just a heads up:
Switching from (Snow) Leopard to Windows requires a complete shut down and re-boot.

Yeah i'm looking into bootcamp. And sorry, i DO know what snow leopard is, because i own it. i bought this laptop 2 days ago, and i was told they had already installed snow leopard. i have the snow leopard disk, i just haven't even looked at the system specs until now. guess i have to install it.

Anyway, if i install snow leopard, will i be able to play 2.2.3 without the graphics issue?
