One good thing about this thread is that we're not accusing anyone of anything here (:
oh... yeah, i didn't mean it like that... I was going to make a joke as an for why this could be true, but decided it was inappropriate for the forum

Or probably the community isn't ready yet to have team game fun (even though everybody is trying to) (that is, not enough strong players and not enough strong teams) (and thus we have no chance to value such maps properly)?
Ah, yes

I think you may have a point. I have trouble rating maps that I don't play test in MP (in fact I rarely rate any maps that I don't play test), and it is difficult for me to play test effectively with a team that doesn't do well together (i.e., balanced teams, or having players that don't "play for the team").

No-no, i was just kidding

Anyway, what do you mean? (:
A "bell-curve" or "curved grading system" is when you don't use set criteria to give a score. Sometimes you "round up" scores. For example, my high school science teacher tried this system for a semester, because he thought it was best for that semesters curriculum. It meant that he compiled our scores individually, but when he finalized them as a letter grade (A, B, C, etc) he would give the person with the highest score (could be only 70% correct on a test, etc) an A, the next highest range of scores a B and, etc.
I'm saying we should do this... set critia that we think we've been using is best imo, but I was just wondering if you though he got higher scores for a similar reason... anyhow, I knew you were joking, and so was I

This is why some features aren't implemented: http://forums.wz2100.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=7490&view=unread#p87241
