And so... I really did it. I created a new building called "post-nuclear housing"
in the NRS+ mod. This building is an hybrid between a wall and a reactor. It's kinda useless both as full wall and as full power production. But if you can spam enough and use them as a shell to protect more crucial buildings... Here is how it should be use :

As I said, it is an hybrid between a wall and a reactor (power production). It doesn't produce enough to be a target of opportunity for the opponent and have enough hp for him to try to avoid them or go trough instead of attacking.Per wrote:So, it is a ... wall?

I've been playing your mods lately, and I have a question.
I understand that the post-nuclear housing doesn't do much in the way of power, but your mod doesn't make it very clear whether solar or nuclear is the better way to go.
I notice that you use both in your images, and nuclear plants are more expensive than solar, but which boosts power production more?

there is approximately 4 tiles of the outside edge that are supposed to be unusable. any oils put in this area are what i like to call "unreachable" . unless of course the code has been changed ... with out us being advised of this.zany wrote:how you build in the border area?driver4 wrote:Wz city strikes yet again!

Hello Searge-Major. Good question. The interest rate may vary from one setting to the other. I fix the price so a single player research more than a 4p player but less than the whole team. As a result I expect a smaller gain from 1p alone than a team of 4p. But right now the interest rate is fixed at 1.5$ per 100$ each 10 seconds. To be easier to understand I made both the reactor and the solar plant produce as much as 100$ . Searge-Major. There is NO change between 40$ you keep in your pocket and 40$ you spend in housing, it's the same interest. You just get for your 40$.
I understand the bit about housing, by building housing you effectively invest $40 per house, and get the same return as if you had kept the money, except you can't spend that money any more.
But, I still don't fully understand the nuclear and solar plants
but I'm not 100% sure what it does. Does it increase the rate of interest, with the maximum being $100 per 10 seconds;
or does it actually increase power generating performance?the reactor and the solar plant produce as much as 100$ .
Sorry for the lengthy questions, but I'm trying to work out a strategy, and if solar works on interest, then obviously I need to keep money in the bank.
