i think you also misinterpreted my statement. yes, hit-and-run works well offensively, but as an auxiliary tactic to complement the rest of your offense. you're not going to beat somebody with all rockets.
I've beaten people with all rockets. The trick is to mix in MRA's for anti-cyborg and anti-structure. If he tries to make a beeline for your base with his army, you just harrass him, and his army generally dies before it reaches your base.

3. If you used nothing but cannons, you'd have the same problem. Heck, if you do anything but MGs, you'll have the same problem.

1. i might also point out that MRA + lancer hovers will lose against hmachinegun cobra hovers.

3. as i said 100% of anything is a weak strategy - you need machineguns to complement a cannon strategy until at least assault cannon, and after that one might want to strongly invest in artillery to protect against copious cyborgs
