Is the Guide translatable?
Hello,
I was wondering if the research tree, as well as the information in the guide could be translated(I'm thinking Korean).

I don't see the reason why not, but, I am not sure where it will be hosted if you do it.
and it ends here.

Re: Is the Guide translatable?
as far as i know, there is only the english , french , german manuals. as for the tech tree, i have only worked on the english. french and german tech trees were done by others. and by all means, do the korean tech tree and manual. the more translations done the better. as for hosting, depending on the size, contact me and we will figure something out.bravoleaderx wrote:yeah there should be a translation for it

Ok.. But I don't know how it's to be done yet. Do I have to edit the .html files directly? Or is there an easier way?

Re: Is the Guide translatable?
I found a CAT(Computer Aided Translation) program called Omega T. I think i'll use this, as it can edit .html files as well as .po.

Re: Is the Guide translatable?
I wouldn't recommend editing the HTML files directly. Guide pages are pregenerated; translating the HTML pages wouldn't have very good results.
The Guide framework isn't finished yet (and neither is the text) which makes translation a bad idea at this stage. I'd recommend waiting, or perhaps giving me a hand with the code.
