Re: 3 new maps
yes, and so the structures dont work
the only structures i had on them was a command centre each so i doesnt make a huge difference.
just play them on no bases or feel free to not download them.

Aw, don't be so touchy. Battles, for one, is a promising map. You pay attention to strategic elements; very Pumpkin.Flail13 wrote:yes, and so the structures dont work![]()

It would help if you took some more time and tlc with your maps. Show some pride in them, and others will take them more seriously...

Hmm, I love the first one! I don't think that the structure issue is a real problem, at least for me
There's some things I really don't like in my games, overall:
If you already start with the base constructed, you can't have any significant advantages for knowing how to design an efficient base, or mastering the building order that btter suits your personal strategy. If you have tons of oil, you can't have any significant advantages for knowing how to invest your power on the right stuff. If you start T2 or T3, you can't have any significant advantages for knowing the technologies of the game better than your opponents.

Re: 3 new maps
Just updating, I've already played 3 successive skirmish matches on Mischief, and I'm gathering some freinds to play it on MP - It is arguably the best map I've ever played O_O
Really, it kicks off the standard balance, with resources scattered all over the map, and interesting topography.
I'd make a smoothly variated height all across the map, only leaving the bases flat, though: Even with the lots of cliffs, which I love, the passable terrain is mostly flat, with a few hills.
Hmmm... my inspiration to make maps is growing, I need a clone
hehehe,
