Move the bottom panels to the left?
The bottom panels are usually related with the left panels. Putting them to the left should help them be more easily reachable when you're doing stuff like researching or manufacturing.

Yes. Just closer to the hub. Same size, etc.

Righto I vote yes to that. might stop the mini map overlapping the bottom menu when you enlarge it.
Powerbar too!

I think it will look nicer, but it will take longer to move the mouse there from the most frequent position (center of screen). By the same standard, the reticule is really misplaced, but I guess that's why we have shortcut keys.

Yeah, I agree, that's probably the biggest concern. I just hope it won't be too difficult to relearn - it's not that far from the original location.guciomir wrote:People are used to it. My dad will not be happy
Then again, if you open things from the reticule, the most frequent position to select something on the bottom menu isn't the center of the screen, but the reticule. Even if you don't, you're virtually always going to select something on the left menu right after you select something from the bottom menu, so leaving the bottom menu at the center doesn't actually save any time.Per wrote:I think it will look nicer, but it will take longer to move the mouse there from the most frequent position (center of screen). On the other hand, moving it to the left saves lots of time, since many actions (researching, manufacturing) require lots of clicking back and forth between the bottom and left menus. Plus, I think it looks nicer, too.

If this idea goes on I'd be glad to help with anything that doesn't involve programming
