Also, making it so that every title shows up on mouse over means extra work (specially if we're having some nice fade-in and fade-out effects)

Actually, that part's not an issue at all. It's purely an issue of usability.

OK got new laptop in and everything transfered over as expected so I should be able to post an update today after I attend to my real job for a bit. If however I get bogged down by XP repairs yet again you can expect an update over the holiday weekend.
It's purely an issue of usability.
