2.1 crashes (in XP)

The normal version works now too. I don't know what was the problem with the first installation, but it was a clean one. Perhaps corrupted files or something.

I added some stuff to the report, it maybe a different reason though...

I had windows deleted and reinstalled on xmas, installed wz2100 into a clean folder, everything crashes... tried to install an older version that worked (before reinstalling windows) and installed over it, didnt work either...

Help, i cant play my most beloved game

Since you had reinstalled Windows, you could try updating your video card drivers, and install DirectX if you haven't already. Can't really say what causes your problem, I didn't know when I had it either...

may be you need, at first, to find stderr.txt in WZ dir

Added that one on that pugreport, too, when i found it...

Amongst all the stuff(and lots of warnings about the same crap), it sais this:

game is installed in D:\Spiele\Warzone 2100\ - funny... and what do those "\"-Things do there? not shown anywhere else...

Oh, and i cant imagine it were the drivers - got the newest for my card, and dx9.25something... would be too easy

Edit: the errormessages should hopefully be the reason, as the non-debug-file gives only them...
