* K.... So you were able to load the basic .LND Project file I generated &I sent you that I couldn't even re-load myself, go ahead add to it, compile a .wz & run it in-game.

* Next step: See if I can load the .LND you saved or run the compiled .wz...

* I assume you sent me files by e-mail to test.... I'll do manana as I'm slightly besotted at the moment. ;)

* Prelim thought: Obviously I have what it takes to make a .LND that works. Yet for some reason when I try to re-load after a save I can't & get the 2 aforementioned errors in 32 EW - what's missing ?

* My directories are set-up as per instruct.

* I can also load in-game.wz you & Grim compiled without any probs in the latest installed GPL WZ on my comp with sweet results...

* I love a good mystery but this.... Oh well, tomorro's another day to Carpe Diem.

* Your .wz of test1 ran fine in GPL WZ.

* However, judging from the date of the .LND - you sent me back the one I sent and not the one you modified & saved... ergo, same result - could not load. So.... send me the .LND you changed & then I can truely test.

* BTW.....

* Here are the process that 32 EW triggers when running on my comp (as you can see 47 modules are accessed... when Map Prefs & Data Set Loaded.... only 37 when EW is simply launched):

* Grab Free "What"s Running" HERE  and install (there are others all the way up to IBM's high-end "Purify Plus".... but this prog, IMHO, is the best available for us poor folk, heh ;) .)

* Launch screen cap prog (like HyperSnap) with hot-key trig.. then launch 32EW....then launch "What"s Running"....then highlight/select 32EW in "What"s Running".... check far right screen.... capture....

* Hmmm.... obviously I'm running more processes with and without a data load..

* Next comes the "FUN" part... a comparative analysis without benefit of a db (the poor mans burden, heh... that is to determine even though your triggering less processes than I am .....

* Am I triggering the same as you (for one) ? (Aka -Do you have something I don't ?)

* And (2) - what are the diffs specifically ? and  ....

* (3) are my additional processes creating a conflict ?

* That's all I can think of for now 'cept...

* Send me your modified .LND of the test file.... so I can compare to the original I sent you....

* Oh joy-joy... a deeper trouble-shooting modus. ;)

* I'll get back l8r today with any results.... for now I have to run some errands before I can continue on this quest to make a WZ Map with the 32EW.

* I need to research more deeply the process you have resident/acivated that I don't (5 .dll & 1 .ime) to see what they serve....  BEFORE I go ahead populate my sys with them...

* CORRECTION: I have the .ime and 4 of the 5 .dlls - they just are not engaged when I run 32EW as they are when you do. Why ? I donot know - yet....

* Now that 5th .dll that YOU have that I don't have at all...... well, my friend, I'm glad I don't have it.... 'cause it's Malware !..... GET RID of it...

it was a tech wheel mouse - wireless version... uninstalled it. ;D  strange that nothing ever happened. or any alarms went off. oh well. ;D

* Got the .LND issue sorted... can save & re-open, on & on, no prob... the solution.... hmmm, wait till you hear but first....

* I have to go back to why a  .wz can generate a C++ Runtime error resulting in WZ's dtc.  Suspect a possible culprit but I'm too pooped right now to test the hypothesis.

* I'll  continue this journey when the neuron pathways are nimble & fresh again - tomorrow..
