Re: Lithuanian translation
We are currently testing a new method to translate, via Launchpad, which you could try if you like.
1. Register at Launchpad
2. Start translating
The other method (and the one everyone else uses) is to download the .po file and translate it either via a texteditor (which has to support UTF-8) or via Poedit.
This is also explained in the wiki now.

The is no en.po because no one has translated the english Warzone 2100 into english...

Re: Lithuanian translation
Translation canceled, because WZ don't support these type of letters.

Nice April Fools hoax!
I really believed it till now, when I looked up the unicode symbols you mentioned (0104 010C 0118 0116 012E 0160 0172 016A 017D, in that order), which are all supported by DejaVu. I used the PDF sample as reference.

If you mean that you can't type those letters currently in the chat/edit boxes, that is correct, and a fix is being worked on.A4tech wrote: Translation canceled, because WZ don't support these type of letters.

The whole fuss over fonts & quesoGLC was because the dev team *wanted* to support those and other characters. AFAIK, it should work while rendering them.
