Holy mother of God...
BUT! The rockets are a bit too much rounded, they should be more "pointy".

Thanks guys
I'm now in the countryside but unfortunately I didn't have time to get my newest files copied to my usb stick, so the ripples will have to wait until next year.
Meanwhile, filled in some additional details on the command centre hipoly.

Command center texture is pretty much done. I also managed to squeeze the polycount down to 2000 without sacrificing detail.

.
Your HQ katamari reminded me of an entirely new art form I was recently exposed to which at first struck me as bizarre but has since keenly grown on me.

Here are some:....Artists around the world have lately been turning to their bookshelves for more than just a good read, opting to cut, paint, carve, stitch or otherwise transform the printed page into whole new beautiful, thought-provoking works of art.

Good. But IMHO the upper part of the building should be darker.Jorzi wrote:Command center texture is pretty much done. I also managed to squeeze the polycount down to 2000 without sacrificing detail.
Sorry for my bad English
Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
Beautiful cc model!
Maybe the side walls of the upper part could be indeed a bit darker, except for the windows, but I guess that will look differently when specularity is applied to the model. Another small thing: In the original model there are two pits with a red and green light on the very top. I liked those But that's really just details, the model is fantastic.

Thanks guys
About the red & green lights: I was a bit torn from the beginning concerning this. Who in their right mind would leave exposed piping with lamps in the middle of a building, collecting water & dirt? On the other hand they do provide some nice details, but unfortunately pulling off fake lighting with an otherwise dynamically lit texture can also look a bit bad, so I took the easy way out...
