Will always be folks that don't cotton to ya, Mero. Same for everyone. Just the normal course of life, I think, even though by nature we all much prefer to be liked from the get go. But here, from what I've seen, I do believe the folks that don't cotton to ya are in the minority.Merowingg wrote:Rman you are extremely kind I will dare to sayVery kind words.
On the other hand I have this strange feeling of feeling strangeby that I mean that there may be people who do not like my particular opinions and points of view. And maybe even many.

I see.Merowingg wrote:Rmanyes what you say is obvious I rather ment that some of my beliefs here are far radical or extraordinary which may one day trigger an important person
When in Warzone do as Warzonians dois what I do not follow.
BTW so many great games will be introduced this yearand movies as well

Just telling it as I see it.Merowingg wrote:Rman accidentally with this adjusting me into old schoolers you have made one of the best complements here for me ever![]()
At the same time I see clearly that you understand me.
My introduction to Tomb Raider was also on the PS 1 with the first release. At the time I was mostly playing TA, WC, SC, Diablo, Myth, Unreal, Syndicate, MOO and Sport Sims. It was really very different, in a good way. Over the years, I've played all but "The Guardian of the Light". Some I liked as well as the first, others not so much.I love Tomb Rider series and I have finished all parts except Anniversary, where in the middle I have lost all my saves with hard drive. And I have finished about 10% of Guardian of the Light.
I was playing the first two parts of Tomb Rider on PSX One, when it already looked old and something bad happened to Lara
Here in your post are you speaking about Guardian of the Light or the newest one that is not yet out?
Tell me if you feel the same way after reading the hands-on preview.I have a problem here as you know my approach to femalesbut my answer is that I would not follow or get involved in something that I was rised on and went so big changes. I will play the newest but we are step by step losing something Rman I think

Soon we can have Mario as FPS shoter

I have not run that preview. What I focused on is that the author had an opportunity to PLAY a build of the game.Merowingg wrote:The preview which is described in the article I have seen few months ago.
While I haven't seen it, I would have reacted the same as you I think, based on your description.I liked it, I think it was mainly because Tomb Rider was a game I rised on. But what I remember most of all that first thin I did while watching it, was turning the volume of my 5.1 speakers down as her screaming was so intence and characteristic that I felt embarassedIt was because I felt I may be acused of watching something violent or on the contrary something like new Laras production
I've heard it's very bloody. Is it gratuitus ? Is it over the top ? Will it be a turn—off for me as such ? I'll have to play it to judge for myself.I also remember that scene where she lands with this parachute with hittin a branch. It is so sugesstive that I remember I held my ribs at that time when she hit it. It is indeed very very bloody. I think they missed one step between changing so dramatically, and then cover it all in blood if they have to then. What I will tell you is that for sure buy it and I will play it. It is already on steam for a price that I will never buy it as here we do not have euro yet. But a day will come. I usually take those for 4.99.
I share your perspective on all of the above.Indeed I see this violent tendency but Rman I do not know if something is here wrong with meI just love the nevest Batman Trilogy, I have watched Born trilogy few times, and my Wife likes it too
I think the Batman darkening case was a good step. Also the more adult approach to Bond I like very much, and I have already said that the last three bonds are much better, and Craig is much better than Brosman who always even when performs an action could for me take out wrinkles creme and use it meanwhile in feminine way
Also the latest bonds even when we know what we are to expect from such movie with Bond in the title, does not show us unbelievably extraordinary exagerrated actions but more earth like even if still impossible. At least for normal people
Riddles and jumping, yes. But aa big a deal for me as well was total immersion in the variety of fantastic virtual worlds they created for her adventures. What I like is the new approach, I wonder how it will end, but I think ecen in 2100 Lara will alway be bought for all the riddles and jumping. First guardian of the light now this. I still think I am for. Damn I cannot think creally she is hot
Haven't played a Prince game in a decade. Been hooked on Bethessda's "Morrowind" series and Bioware's "Mass Effect" series. You for sure know the Prince of Persia games. I just loved Warrior Within which was cool dark with strong music. But at the same time the on called simply Prince of Persia with Cartoon Graphics from 2009 year I just loved too. I also do not understand how it works as the fans say in thousands that Warrior Within is the best, and the prince with the latest Sands of Times is more and more Barbie like for meI liked it but I needed a claw that was not there.
Am I just realising I am into gore even in Mario Bross 3? Those mushrooms could explode with blood screaming

Rman the funny thing is that I did not play it to but! voila! I have seen a spot where a guy was playing it as a original presentation on E3 or something as it is now very popularI have not run that preview. What I focused on is that the author had an opportunity to PLAY a build of the game.
I understand you. I feel things very much too and I am mix of romantic guy with the other Mr hideFor me it's a matter of the degree of realism portrayed more than the type of realism. As an artist I tend to be more suggestive than ultra graphic because I use techniques to trigger, and enlist, the audience's imagination rather than try to supplant it with my craft. Let me give a quick example. I believe the technique used by Hitchcock in the shower scene in his movie "Psycho" is more enduringly memorable than the whole corpus of slasher flix made in the last 40 years. Basically, less is more.
It is very suggestive, and well presented. It is not that you see Lara taking her gut, one to make it mole probable to surviveI've heard it's very bloody. Is it gratuitus ? Is it over the top ? Will it be a turn—off for me as such ? I'll have to play it to judge for myself.
I remember playing Tomb rider anniversary for over half a year. Because there was no solution on paper, I had no internet, and it was not so popular here too. And I stuck at one riddle. I was so bored that I learned to play with Granade luncher so its missles jumped aroundRiddles and jumping, yes. But aa big a deal for me as well was total immersion in the variety of fantastic virtual worlds they created for her adventures.
