Re: Nighlty build of the development trunk

Try deleting strings.txt out of grim.trunk.wz that's the only way I got it to run.

Re: whole reballance suggestion

That's not warzone... I like warzone

My Large Cannon Python Tracks shouldn't be killable in 2-3 hits with another large cannon. Or do I misunderstand you?

Is grim.wz incompatible with the trunk?

This is what I get when I try the two together ursa@ursa-desktop:~$ warzone2100 --mod grim.wz error   : Texture file "frend4.png" not preloaded. error   : Assert in Warzone: bitimage.c:36 : LoadTextureFile (resPresent("IMGPAGE", FileName)), last script event: '<none>' error   ...

Re: Similar games to WZ2100

Boson looked like it had some potential but it hasn't been updated in about a year.

Re: Nighlty build of the development trunk

Copy the contents of ~/warzone/data/multiplay/skirmish/customai to /warzone/data/multiplay/skirmish/ before you compile.

Re: maybe a dumb question

The company allowed us (or rather one dedicated person) to convert the movies into Theora OGGs.

Honestly before then there was rather a player in circulation, but it was removed from the official source code.

Re: maybe a dumb question

Not asking for anything... I was just wondering because I am aware the Freespace 2 community had a similar issue with the cutscenes of the game for about five years before a solution was resolved. I am not asking anyone to violate any contracts, no worries.

Re: maybe a dumb question

Out of curiosity... has a player never been created, or does one exist but is technically illegal?

Re: Help with Gamma campaign

Can't believe I never tried this. Last time I played I ended up with about five surviving units by the end of the first mission... of course all my units get destroyed by Nexus one way or another anyway. All of the units I sent on the last mission were green.

lol... that would be a problem. Thank you both a lot for your undoubtedly premium time, and thank you again for an excellent game.

Re: Now that multiple turrets are supported on SVN...

I suppose that would be a balancing thing right? Heavy bodies were only slightly tougher than mediums before so the multiple turrets give heavy bodies a significant advantage over the mediums.
