Request: Japanese (日本語) translation for Warzone 2100

Is it possible to put a Japanese (日本語) translation for Warzone 2100?

Should be doable. Not sure if warzone currently supports japanese characters, but I guess it wouldn't be a huge feature to add...
Hopefully someone with knowledge about the codebase will see this and give more information.
