[FIXED] Add "(TCP/IP)" to "Internet"
[FIXED] Add "(TCP/IP)" to "Internet"
When setting up an MP-game you have the possibility to choose "Internet". At least one user asked me how to set up an MP-game in his LAN not knowing that he could use "Internet". That user knew that he has to use TCP/IP but since that user didn't know that the internet uses TCP/IP, he wasn't able to set up a game. He tried to use the external IP (the one of his router) for setting up the game on one computer and then joining with the other.
I had to tell him that he should use "Internet" and use the internal IP of his local area network. Setting up the game was successful then, but that user requested to have "Internet" relabeled to "Internet (TCP/IP)".
That user is German and does not know English well enough to post here which I why I am doing.
And while being busy with that problem I realised that we only have one option after "Multiplayer game", so we could just dismiss the selection-screen where you have to click "Internet" and instead present the user with that little IP-input-box directly (without that "You have to click 'Internet'"-step).

That's exactly what I had in mind when I started reading your post. But yes, that would be much better, since there's only one option anyway.Kreuvf wrote: And while being busy with that problem I realised that we only have one option after "Multiplayer game", so we could just dismiss the selection-screen where you have to click "Internet" and instead present the user with that little IP-input-box directly (without that "You have to click 'Internet'"-step).

Well, yeah, I thought I should provide some background-info on how I came to that idea
