Feedback: Moderating queue

Post by zerosum »

Howdy,
I understand the use of the moderating queue as a "fail-safe" device meant for trolls, but it is quite annoying to be unable to check nor edit a post after it is submitted. At least, it would be nice to allow registered users to reply in their own topics without being queued.

By the way, how many posts are required to get out of this?

Sorry, but we would not have this queue if we did not need it. The spam problem just got that bad.

I think you only need a few posts, then this problem is gone.

I thought you might. However, I haven't encountered much forums where such option was enabled (primarily for the reasons I mentionned, and also because it is more work for the moderators).
