Warzone... in 3D?

Post by Searge-Major »

Ok, after seeing this I looked at the WZ config file, but couldn't find anything related. Is there a way to get this to work? WZ in 3D would be awesome. :D

As far as I know, none of the devs have a stereoscopic screen. (Although I haven't asked any.)

You don't need a special screen AFAIK, just a compatible graphics card and red-cyan 3D glasses. :)

Does this mean that none of the devs have heard of it?

I'm guessing the gfx card is just changing the output of the open gl renderer in which case it should work once you try it? I'd doubt that the game itself would have to be modified for that to work?

1. Right click on a blank area on desktop.
2. Click nVidia control panel
3. In the left column select stereoscopic
4. In the main page, click the button to turn it on.

Note: as long as your graphics card supports it and you have the nVidia 3d vision glasses and emitter it should work.

edit1: after googling around i could see that this 3D vision discover was removed in 19x.xx driver and no notebook version :(

No luck getting it to work.

There is nothing in the Nvidia settings that turns it on for a specific game, and the keyboard shortcuts to enable/disable 3D vision didn't have any effect. :(

Try iz3d driver, but it work for DirectX...WZ work on OpenGL, right?
They are remove OpenGL support in 1.11 version...so try to use old 1.10 version.
Let me know if it works :)
