Iron Sky is a forthcoming science-fiction comedy film from the makers of Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning
That should be good recommendation.
Iron Sky is one of a new wave of productions, including Artemis Eternal, The Cosmonaut, A Swarm of Angels and RiP!: A Remix Manifesto, produced in collaboration with an on-line community of film enthusiasts, that are creating a new kind of participatory cinema. At Wreck-a-Movie, a collaborative film-making web site, the producers have invited everyone interested in "chipping in" with their ideas and creativity to read the tasks given to the community and to take a shot (write an entry).
Somewhere I've read that they raised one million dollars worldwide and the movie is supposed to be available for free, but I don't know if this is true or still valid since:
The film is financed by Energia Productions, Blind Spot Pictures, New Holland Pictures and 27 Films production companies
Nadszedł już czas, najwyższy czas, nienawiść zniszczyć w sobie.
The time has come, the high time, to destroy hatred in oneself.
BWAHAHAHA... already rolling just with the trailer!!
I'm curious if its' gonna come out in Germany. Probably not, because of too much swastikas. Most nazi-movies are the documentary style of what happened and stuff... Kinda boring... Iron Sky could make a good laugh!
...at least I don't need the subtitles for the German parts...
Me and my friends are very much hoping this comes to the UK, we've been following it since the first teaser.

The glory of this has collapsed on its self so far, that even the neutrons have collapsed."

HTML5 version is only ad-free place for now, but not all movies are available in non-flash version... There is a page for you to join the dark side... http://www.youtube.com/html5
Hmm, there a special note there
Videos with ads are not supported (they will play in the Flash player)
but I've seen all those previous link just fine without ads. Someone is not telling something there
Its not out in the states and doesn't look like it will be.. at least not in georgia. I had to hunt it down online but if it does come to your area (and I hope it comes here. Still want to see it at the local theater) it is a must see. Anyone know whats the news about the UK release? I read that it was getting into a 1 day release but that was a few days ago I think.
