Multiplayer help!

Post by Serman »

With many of my friends lies the same problem. They cannot connect to one of my games, or vice versa.

I can connect with other people who it works with, though. I know that you need to open port something something to something to the something.

But I have no idea what that means, how to do it, or how the websites that are given on the wiki helpful. They've tried to deactivate all firewalls, etc, but nothing worked.

If either of us hosts the game, it works, and it takes players, but the other does not see the game on either the lobby server list, or even if they enter the IP address. They CAN see Ghost Games though.

Don't tell me to open port something, cause I won't know what that means or how to do it. <_<

I need a step by step sort of thing.

please help!

Open port 9999 with that method (only required for the one hosting the game).
