Help needed

Hey all, Ive been playing this game for years now, hard AIs dont cut it any more. However I am having troubles trying to join games. I join in, I can chat and all, but when it starts, I drop out. I cant find out why. Also my skirmish games keep crashing at certain points (I save, it crashes. I re open it and it crashes at the same point) That just started happening.

Also Mods "Grims GFX" "aviolation" and old 1.10 balance crash when I try to start a game. It says RUNTIME ERROR.

During games, messages on the top written in yellow keep saying errors with files, and to check my logs. I dont know how to access the files of warezone, so I cant mod or change these things to stop the errors.

On 8 player maps with 8 or more oil derricks per person, the game lags, and crashes at point. I can play 1v1 games fine, with maybe 1 crash. 2v2 and 4v4 crash to the point where I build 1 thing and it crashes. I love the game, but these make me want to stop sometimes. Please any help to any of these issues is appreciated alot.

I used to find a similar problem when I had corrupted maps (or map-mods) in the maps directory. You could try making a backup of all the maps in your maps folder (See here for location of maps directory --> http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/FileLocations#Maps), then empty out the maps directory, and then try starting the game again. If you're able to join games now, then it means that one (or more) of those maps is causing you to drop out of games.
