I recommend you to install the Leatrix Latency Fix.
This little program can help you to improve your ping/latency by twice but it also depends on your system configuration and your provider settings. so, probably you will see no difference...

Also, Leatrix~ is only useful for mmo games or any online games which send small amount of data via a network(but very fast).

It's a 1-click program, so no troubles can happen with an install procedure.

Well, you can enable it before you start a game, then disable it.
For me it's always enabled, I don't see any big difference in games, but sometimes I have a better ping then it was before.
