Defensive advantage . I'm wondering

Hello all !
I'm wotking on the next evaluator for my mods. And this question is about defensive advantage.

My new evaluator tell me that one will need to spend 3.17 time more energy into viper wheels then mg tower. That's pretty much coherent with what i can experiment in game.

However it tells me that you can spend 1:1 into tag mantis to kill a tag hardpoint even while taking into account that it is anti-personal vs wall. Actually a single tag mantis on htrack should be enought to kill 3 tag hardpoint at once if it was not of that anit-personal modifier... And we can experiment that also in game.

I took twin assault gun for this exemple, but the tendancy of defensive structure becoming weaker during the course of the game is more or less constant.

I'm wondering : Is the some sort of balance, extra power that come from structures more then droids over time ? That would lure me into thinking they are weaker then they are ?

Or else... Does is just happen to be more fun like this ? bug or feature XD ?

Before you ask : yeah I take into account different upgrades. My results are relevant with in game experiment.

The attack vs. defense balance is a very complicated thing that depends heavily on the map layout. For example, the effectiveness of defensive structures is inversely proportional to the number of chokepoints.

Still, i agree that defenses become underpowered during the game, but this is ... until big forts come in. Right (?)

hmmm, today the script says that cannon and rocket fotress should be nerfed by 25%. I guess you are right (: .

Ok so... after huge reconsideration of the script again. I found many factors that stacked together and lured me into having results a lot more impressive then the reality. Now that I have more reasonnable result, i see that the TAG hardpoint was one of the worst choice to run my tests. It need some serious boost to worth it price.

Now that i have results that suggest improvement of end game hardpoint but nerf of early forteress, I guess i'm on the sweat spot :) .
