how can i use at best the flamers?

Put them on fast propulsion (hovers, cyborgs), so that they could actually reach the enemy. Also, thermal bombs are scary, and thermal artillery can be quite scary against hovers and cyborgs as well.

I'm also curious if anybody made effective use of flamers in campaign (which is heavily unbalanced in the sense there is a single best weapon most of the time).

noq how u use rocket and missiles?
with wich propulsion and bodies? ever in campaign 3 :-)

The only weapon I've ever needed in campaign was lancer. I'm not sure there's any balance in the campaign.

effigy: There isn't. But you should still try assaultguns against NEXUS next time you play ;)
