Problem launching Warzone on my Mac

Post by Guest »

I downloaded Warzone 2100 onto my Macbook (which has all the requirements needed) but when I try to launch the application nothing happens. And now that I exited out of everything, I can no longer find it on my computer.

Which did you download?
What version of Mac OS are you running?

I'm using OS X 10.4, and I just clicked the big green download button. I also tried installing X11 (everyone tells me that's the problem) but for some reason my computer is saying there is more advanced software already on the hardrive whenever I try to install it. And I know for a fact there isn't any X11 software more advanced on the hardrive.

Download page wrote:You need X11 installed (should come by default since 10.5), which can be found on the install DVD.

Try the latest X11 download for 10.4 from apple's site; if that does not work, then you will have to find and delete the package receipts that are preventing you from installing X11.

Try looking in

Code: Select all

/Library/Receipts
for the receipts.
