a few tips?
i'm downloading this game right now, does anyone have any tips? i heard most of the units were fully customizeable, and theres quite a few guns. I watched a friend play it, and he got his ass kicked by four giants, that pulled his walls and turrets apart. So, i need a bit of a strategy guide...

First of all welcome to Warzonenekronuke wrote:i'm downloading this game right now, does anyone have any tips? i heard most of the units were fully customizeable, and theres quite a few guns. I recommend you to start with the tutorial to understand the basics of Warzone.
After that go to the options and set difficulty to "easy". Afterwards I recommend you to play the campaign, there you will get used to the different kind of technologies step by step.
As a useful tipp, when playing you have a little control panel in the bottom left corner of the map. One of the symbols looks like a little map of the world. After you researched more and more technologies you can click it and you will get an overview over different technologies. When clicking one of them you get some kind of short information, amongst other things how to use a weapon best.
While playing you may have more specific questions, just come back here and ask
Have a lot of fun

Always start with a factory or a researh lab. The factory is for building even more trucks and then building your base faster, the research lab is to gain technological avantage over you enemy. You should start to build powen gen only once your power go low.
Always research upgrades for what you use and use what you research.
learn the tech tree for the Vapor Turbine Generator : http://guide.wz2100.net/r/vaporturbinegenerator not only the target is good, but it pass trought all the crucial research that you don't want to forget.

By giants ? There is no "giants" in the original game, but maybe you played my mod CTT where you can get the xanax's mech (2 long black legs) ?nekronuke wrote:he got his ass kicked by four giants

Re: a few tips?
nah, bigass cyborgs. They were using some kind of huge cannon. I was able to tech up to the *retaliation* chassis, which i used to thermite his base back to the stone age because he never used any AA. after that, he rebuilt his force using all AA, and i won using flamethrower tanks. How do i upgrade my factory to level 3? also, how do i get those enormous cyborg mechas? they were bigger than my super tank killer cyborgs, and made meat out of my cannon fortress emplacements.
