Saving unit designs in-between multiplayer/skirmish matches.
Are you tired of having to go through the process of designing your favorite units (such as Machinegun Viper Wheels or Heavy Cannon Python Tracks, though you might wish to name them as something else) in each new multiplayer or skirmish match over and over and over again? Well, what if we could design our own units outside of these matches, save them, and they'd automatically become available for production when the proper research has been completed (and possibly whenever a command center is present) during a multiplayer or skirmish match? That would certainly save some time, though you could still design units during a match (provided that you have a command center present) to, say, develop a unit to counter an opponent's unit that you lack a counter towards. You could even delete designs for your less-advanced units as the game progresses (to free up space), though these designs would not be permanently deleted until you specify it in the main menu. (Optionally, you could have the game automatically make certain unit designs obsolete as newer designs are made available, such as, say, making your Machinegun Viper Wheels units obsolete once you can build Twin Machinegun Viper Wheels, or Machinegun Viper Half-Tracks, or Machinegun Bug Hover, though this feature might not be as necessary as being able to save designs for units in-between matches.)
