On the single-player challenge where you have 2 allies to help you (versus everyone else) i have some small questions. I have beaten the campaign and i understand the game and how it's played, but . . .
1.What is the little heart shape in the lower right hand corner of some research topics? I've notice if i roll over it the team either gray or orange pops up
2. do me and my allies share power? because my power has gone down while i wasn't building/researching anything.
3. Does choke-points and defense play a very large role in this challenge (as in, you can't win unless you can find a perfect way to hold them off)

Re: challenge
I can answer your first two questions. The little heart means that someone else in your team is researching that item. You should not research it then. Researching the same thing as your ally does not help speed it up. You do not share power. You need power to build most structures, make any kind of unit, and research. Hope this helps. :^)Vike13 wrote:On the single-player challenge where you have 2 allies to help you (versus everyone else) i have some small questions. Re: challenge
i find rushing an enemy base right at the begining helps, if you can kill 1 enemy and take his oil early on it swings the entire game.
another option is to pay close attention to what your allies are using and focus on research that makes their armies tougher.
as to choke points specifically, its not a bad thing to prevent your eastern ally being attacked on his east or your southern ally on his south side.
