windows 7 help

So i downloaded and installed the new 2.3.7 onto my windows 7 tower. i can get to the main menu, open the single player menu, but when i click campaign it takes me to a screenshot/load screen and just sits. does anyone have any ideas? i know this game wasn't exactly made to run on 7(i used to play when xp just came out).

I don't have 2.3.7 installed on my laptop with windows 7. But I have 3.0 Beta 4 and I have it set to 'run as administrator' with no problems. Try that, then try compatibility mode if that doesn't work. Otherwise update video drivers would be another possibility. That's all that I can think of. If those don't work, somebody else will have to help.

I had an issue with vista (basically similar to 7) with an ATI graphics that sounded rather similar to what you are experiencing. I just updated the drivers through windows update. What graphics card are you using?
