Hi all and thanks for providing Warzone.
I'm per se a happy Warzone player, nut it appears that the latest release has brought and annoyance with range weapons; mortar and howitzer. They now disgustingly often fire into near ground. Trying to shoot through mountains or ground ( for far or higher positioned targets, or targets on the other side of an obstacle, whatever) committing suicide or breaking other parts of ones base (i'm not complaining about losses due to own troops or base being near expected impact). Where i think this may be ok to happen from time to time as it was before, i'm now usually loosing buildings to my own defense more than to the enemy. If there was a learning effect it would be acceptable too... but for all buildings and troops it is ok to fire senslessly into walls for hours if you let them.
Classical scene: Enemy missile tank tries to shoot at a cannon defense tower behind the edge of a mountain (which it can't), own mortars on higher ground try to kill it in direct short shot, firing into ground so that it blows up things in front of it, damaging itself and killing the mechanics that try to come and fix it.
This kind of thing has become too common to be fun. Suggestion for a not perfect, but i guess easy and quick fix might be to have them always shoot high. That should at least avoid more than half of the suicide cases.
Thanks.

yes
this is brought up before here:

i think toggling on/off mortar and indirect fire will solve the problem, but the developers will have to implement that if other players are convinced as well.
