Actually if that where the case I would have felt very tempted to start a flamewar directed at the censorer.

I hate discrimination on grounds of religion, origin, sexual preference, etc. I don't mind people discriminating corpses by neglecting to talk to them though.

As for what was being censored I think lav_coyote25 thought it might be (mis)interpreted as sexual intimidation or something in that direction.

I really didn't ment to offend you. Nor did I mean to say that you discriminate anyone.

I actually thought whether a ";)" would be necessary to show that this is not meant seriously.
I really have no idea what was removed and my response tried to be a funny interpretation of what I made up could have been.

When Giel wrote that he wouldn't support censorship of the kind I played with in my post, it is nearly obvious that he wrote it using a conditional "if", "would" and so on... He just said that he doesn't like people discriminating others, which obviously doesn't include you. So it seems like no one wants to suspect you of discrimination.

apologies if i sounded a bit harsh... but i was accused by others one time a long time ago... and resulted in a huge flame war that pretty much soured me on irc untill warzone irc came along... innocent comments can become like the Olympus mons on mars in size real quick. which is why i did what i did. no censorship involved. ;D

Wow, it looks like things have run a bit out of hand here. I know this belongs off-topic but since I m the one who started it, i m the one who's going to stop it now. So to completely clear things up: The removed/edited topics were about how much i liked Eikei's work. But for some reason i didn't just want to say "i like it" or "looks good", So i found myself a more original, weird, stupid way to say it. It had absoulutely nothing to do with sexual outing, discrimination or anything else, I was just trying to be funny, and i even failed at that. So I want to apologise myself to Coyote. He just applied the forum regulations. their was absoultely no form of discrimination or other admin abuse, and i ve gotten him in trouble with it. Secondly i want to apologize to all people who were offended by the original posts. It was meant to be funny, not offensive in any way. And finally i want to apologize to everyone here for hijacking this topic. Further comment on this matter can be made in the off-topic section of the forums. Where i'll be happy to answer all your questions.

And considering that I did _not_ start a flamewar towards you. I basically am trying to say that I think your action (i.e. erasing the text from the posts) is justified.

With this I'm trying to state what my definition of "unwanted discrimination" constitutes. E.g. wanted discrimination is discrimination of sounds.

This is a random guess by me why _you_ think removing the text is justified.

I hope this clears things up lav_coyote25. Actually my entire comment was meant to say to DevUrandom that I think you did _not_ edit that text out because of "some gay coming out" (as he put it).
