Abnormal behavior during Multiplayer

Hello all,
I am not sure if this has been asked before; I have made several searches in the forum but I haven't found anything similar, so I will try to explain my problem :)
Currenlty I am running 2.3.4 in multiplayer (this weekend will try the 2.3.5).
Its running on phenoms+nvidia, debian linux, latest stable kernel 64bit.
Usually I am running the game between 2 pc's at home (my g/f and I) and play mostly against each other. Network connection is 1gb between two computers.
Lets say we are both at T2 with no research available. I create a turret unit, assign 6 units to it, and I advance it to the house entrance of my enemy :) Settings on the turret are return at medium damage, shoot from far.
Once the tanks arrive at the entrance of the enemy they usually get attacked by artilery and/or tanks.
This is the moment most things go wrong. Damage is not correctly shown on my tanks, lets assume a HM->wheels->cobra is ahead of the group, and receives mortars and lancers. Its damage doesn't increase, but a random tank (usually from within the group) explodes. Many times is my turret :(
Also comparing both monitors, we don't have the same image. The tank configuration shows different on host, and different on client. Lets say now my group is dessimated and few survivors return wounded back home. On the other screen actually one of them shows as 'renegade' and runs into the home of my opponent (not in my screen) while can't be killed. Imagine all defences of the opponent cannot kill a single tank (with medium body) while it reaches the opponents HQ and destroys many things meanwhile.

Generally the problem I see apart from the damage being assigned to the wrong tanks, is the big difference in the two screens.
Why my opponent see's such a different view of the battlefield than I do?
Why the damage doesn't add on the tank that is being attacked?
I end up play as a n00b using shere number of tanks, and immense artilery to be able to steal a couple of wins.
I don't notice anything close to these problems in Scrimish, nor in Campaign mode.

I know it sounds really crazy what I describe and I'm even determined to even make a small video illustrating this behavior as it prevents me from playing in multiplayer mode :(

Any help would be really appreciated

Sounds like sync issues, nothing really new, the game has always had them from original 1.10 release.
and it ends here.
