Server help

Hi there, Kaizo here. I have two problems with hosting a server. On occasion players connect then immediately disconnect, although I suspect it's a problem with my ports.

My second problem is that setting a password then hosting with the password on resets the server to no password. It's made it annoying to play with friends as a I have to boot out any unexpected guests. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Don't worry bout players leaving problem... it happens to everyone every game i've been on has had at least someone do that and all the games I hosted too.

you have to click the lock to set a password.

If you see in the chat box that your password is set, then it should be set, and the password box & icon should be ghosted.
If that isn't the case, then you are setting it wrong.

You type the password, hit the lock icon, then hit the host button.

What version you playing ?
It should say *** password [whatever password is] is now required ***
and once it says that, you can't get in without a password.

I'm using 2.3.5, and it does the same thing Kaizo is saying.
