Where can I find the Campaign transport mission maps?

I'm looking for where the map files for the transport missions are kept.

Sorry for being naive, but why is it hard to convert transport missions to multiplayer maps? I've yet to see a single away mission on multiplayer. Is it to do with campaign scripts? Compatibility? Special scripting?
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1045T (6 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
