Possible Bugs
In latest version(2.3.3) in the options - game options menu the unit color will not stay on the color selected. I you select a color and then play for a while then decide to start over. If you close down the game completely you have to go back into game options and change the color again. This is a minor problem.
The other is the difficulty level seems to be the same(easy, normal and hard). When playing the campaign there seems to be no difference between them. When I move the tanks to the opening to block access so base can be constructed.
I kept getting the same damage each time no matter the difficulty. One tank was always in the yellow damage. This is in the first few minutes of the game. I think it might be a bug or the way I play. If someone else is experiencing then I'll make out a bug report for this.
Neither of these were happening in 2.3.1.
My specs are:
Gateway Laptop NV59 series
Windows 7 64 bit
Intel Core i5-430M 2.27 GHz
4 GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD565o Graphics 1 GB RAM

Re: Possible Bugs
Since no one has bothered to answer this. I thought I post some screen shots to prove I'm not making this up.
2.3.4 options game options 2.3.4 again after playing then close program This the first possible bug.

Re: Possible Bugs
This is the second possible bug.
2.3.1 difficulty easy 2.3.4 difficulty easy There should be no difference between the two unless they been deliberately. If it wasn't I'll post a bug ticket. Opinions?

Sorry about the two posts. But there's a three attachment limit.

Re: Possible Bugs
First case, sounds like we don't save that info.
Second case, dunno, haven't tried in a long time, and I am not sure how the difficulty settings apply, or if they still apply at all. I would make a ticket for this one, so we don't forget to check.
Oh, and feel free to make tickets for bugs you think are there, even if you don't get a reply here on the forums. At worst, it is marked "invalid", at best, you found a bug--we just need test cases to see what is going on, so we can replicate it.

Re: Possible Bugs
Warzone uses a random number generator to calculate whether or not any given shot hits, so of course you're not going to end up with exactly the same HP.drgnrdr wrote:There should be no difference between the two unless they been deliberately. If it wasn't I'll post a bug ticket. Opinions?

Re: Possible Bugs
i agree, but I played easy, normal and hard twice each for 30 minutes each. I got the same results 5 of the 6 games in the first 2 minutes. And the rest of the time I didn't notice any difference in the number of units that needed to be repaired/recycled. Always before there was a difference between the 3.Zarel wrote:Warzone uses a random number generator to calculate whether or not any given shot hits, so of course you're not going to end up with exactly the same HP.drgnrdr wrote:There should be no difference between the two unless they been deliberately. Re: Possible Bugs
It also differs significantly between the 2.3.4 and the trunk (of course with same settings), and 2.3.5 rc1 is still the same as 2.3.4.

Re: Possible Bugs
Did you get the right one I just tried to download 2.3.5 rc1 and the download is still 2.3.4. Try it again and if it says 2.3.4 click the warzone 2100 link on the source forge page and it'll take you to the correct download.zzColin wrote:It also differs significantly between the 2.3.4 and the trunk (of course with same settings), and 2.3.5 rc1 is still the same as 2.3.4.

Re: Possible Bugs
I meant 2.3.5 rc1 has the same problem mentioned above on "difficulty" that exists in 2.3.4, not the file being wrong... Sorry for my poor wording...

Re: Possible Bugs
No problem, I just wanted to make sure you had the right download. Because they still haven't changed the link yet. And I just got done checking 2.3.5 rc1 out and noticed right away nothing has changed. It doesn't take long, if you move your tanks to the entrance to the base on easy there shouldn't be any significant damage.zzColin wrote:I meant 2.3.5 rc1 has the same problem mentioned above on "difficulty" that exists in 2.3.4, not the file being wrong... Re: Possible Bugs
This is still a problem and is getting worse. I just played campaign on easy and now the scavengers are attacking earlier and harder. This is the current build 2.3.5. This is starting to become a major problem to me.

Re: Possible Bugs
I fixed it so it will always load the correct color for SP now.
For the difficulty, um... haven't looked at that specific thing yet... it is on my TODO list, but that list is jam packed.
If it really is a huge issue, then please make a ticket, so the other devs can see it.
Thanks.

I did make a ticket on it on 8-23-20 #2081, unless you mean I should make another one.Buginator wrote:I fixed it so it will always load the correct color for SP now.

I agree that the scavengers suddenly got overpowered. Both in campaign and skirmish

Re: Possible Bugs
Yeah I've read that thread. It started in 2.3.2 and has been getting steadily worse. Before there was a slight difference between the difficulty levels, now whenever I play campaign it seems I'm playing hard no matter what difficulty I set to play. I haven't noticed it in skirmish, but I haven't played skirmish in 2.3.5 yet.hao wrote:I agree that the scavengers suddenly got overpowered. Both in campaign and skirmish
