A New Building Upgrade And Other Small Suggestions/Ideas

Hi I'm fairly new to Warzone 2100 and these forums, this is my first post 8).

I have been playing the game now for 2-3 weeks and I was wondering if a Power Station could be a possible upgrade to the current power generator. In order to do this though is it possible to increase:

- The limit of Oil Wells to a Power Generator? (If This Isn't Possible Could The Station Be 2 Generators As One Building?)
- Add New Buildings And Structures To The Game?
- Increase Power Output Percentage/Rate for The New Building? (How Quick It Can Porcess And Give You Oil, Depending On Number Of Wells Owned)

If the above can be done, I think introducing a Power Station would be of benefit to a player's base management, i.e not having too many generators around the map and it could give a higher power output than a generator allowing an even quicker processing of collected oil.

My next suggestion/Idea is the addition of a few more body groups, including a couple of new Super Heavy Bodies which could support multiple weapon slots, like the Dragon. Note that none of these body groups have a light body. I have some suggested names below:

Eagle - Medium Body
Falcon - Heavy Body
Raven - Super Heavy Body

Fox - Medium Body
Wolf - Heavy Body

Spider - Heavy Body
Tarantula - Super Heavy Body

My final suggestion/idea is a new weapon, not a superweapon :wink:, but a normal weapon. I don't know if this exists because I haven't really come accross it in the research tree but how about a Rotory (Fast Fire) Cannon. It would have similar mechanics to the Pepperpot Pit or Hellstorm and could be mounted on both a hardpoint and a vehicle.

Just some suggestions/ideas maybe for a future version, thanks for reading :)

The rotary cannon you speak of is the assault cannon.

Rather than different bodies with similar stats, why dont we add a new type of body.

Extreme thermal resistant bodies.
Robin - light
Owl - medium
Eagl - Heavy
Phoenix - super Heavy

The bodies will be red in color.

Would the Phoenix body you speak of be a multi-turret body?

About bodies...too much!
There should be just more types...
Super Light Armor Body - Ant
Light-Medium Armor Body - Grunt
Medium-Heavy Armor Body - Marine

It would be nice if AA become AA+G...because Shilka shoted at tanks so other AA weapons mostly...
Also there should be like a cannon fires mini rockets and when that rocket hits the target or building then it explodes but its mostly napalm thing!

Body names with out models are useless.Besides its all about stats.

If you put cheats on and use give all and research all, there is a 'naval' propulsion which can only be placed in and move on water, and can't be produced my any factories we currently have in game.
I guess it's pretty useless unless a map is made specifically for it, and hovers are fine for going over water.
I'm going to be trying out mapping and modeling soon.

Is this in the FPI? If not, I think that a Naval propulsion + Naval-only Transport turret, or even special Naval ships including transports would be really interesting, and add a bit of strategic depth to the game. The reasoning for this is simple: Island maps currently only use VTOLs and Hover tanks. Naval Transports would allow the usage of Tracks and other tanks. Obviously, this would be a mid-tier unit, simply to be of use. If it was a T3-T4 unit, then they would really see no use.

true true, But on the same coin, most maps wont see any use from boats :C
