In online games primarily, commanders are rarely used. And when they are they are easily overwhelmed by mass armies.
To make commanders a little bit more useful in multiplayer, i suggest that the hp of all command turrets be increased by 10-15% and the initial unit limit to be increased by 4. Allowing them to stay alive long enough to retain good experience, and not get overtaken by armies with 2x the troops. Even in low power maps, a commander will still get annihilated by he more organized, player ran group.
This is just my idea on how commander could be raised up to multiplayer standards.
