Holding Ctrl. What does it do?

You're right, but the white bar only shows with attack units. Trucks/Repair turrets/ Engineer/Mechanics don't have this bar.

It is a reload bar. Make a tank with a plasma cannon or something. Watch it shoot, the bar refill, it shoot, the bar refill.

I figured it out after about my second day playing. It did confuse me at first though, so I understand how all of you didn't know what it was for.

> No, it's not. For example, on the pic above, the bombard had just fired, and it was about 1/4 way reloaded only, so the white bar was at 1/4 its full length. But when I held ctrl, the reload bar was replaced by a light violet bar, which was already full and didn't change with time.
