~sigh~ well to start this is by no means aimed at the WHOLE of the wz community, but when did the sportsmanship go from the wz games? to have a tactic backfire and then be labelled as noob, is not good sportsman ship.
Has the greatness been lost to egocentric play-for-win'ers?
If anyone has an experience to share, or a game to open please post, i dont want another game to end in insults and ego bashing.

Sportsmanship has always been rare in any game. Best way to avoid those problems is to arrange games with people you know.

i know... just want to join up and play against people i don't know, see new tactics, find what works what doesn't. one guy went all out on me, i had tech so far superior to his, i thought it would be an easy walk in walk out case, he sent in six borg trans ports behind my base while having a massive tank line take my army away from my base, by the time i got back, my base was gone, then vtol finished what was left for end game, i was so thrilled when he said good game and gave some advice ~not to turtle
~ that i made sure to keep an eye out for him in other public games to play against him again!

IMHO, true Sportsmanship, is made-up of equal parts confidence, camaraderie and elan vital. Narcissists are by nature bereft of all 3 of those qualities and must instead substitute unrelenting egotist pronouncements which are ultimately as limp as over-cooked noodles. Ironically, they know that and thus their greatest fear is to be unmasked for the sad clowns they be.

Yeah, what he said. I would only add that if you find sportsmanship uncommon, you are hanging out with the wrong people.Rman Virgil wrote:IMHO, true Sportsmanship, is made-up of...
