What different options are there for controlling AI allies in-game?

I stumbled upon the "help me" command when I saw two allies doing it with each other, and tried it, and it worked (at least they responded; I didn't survive long enough to see if they sent help). So I looked around, and can't find anything on the topic.

So, does anyone know about any other directives that the AIs listen to?
