My guess is - you're using a machine with on-board graphics, and it is somewhat low-end?
Sounds like your hardware doesn't support the required OpenGL. Always post your specs and game version (and, if the game ever crashes, the error log and warzone2100.RPT files), but before doing that, search for similar topics - I'm sure that this problem was already covered on some other topic.

About your english, well, I'm from Brazil, never went through any english course apart from basics at regular school, and my english is fairly good. Your country is not an excuse if you have access to the internet ;)

If you're really using on-board graphics probably that's the problem and the solution should be acquiring a decent graphics card - GeForces are generally very good for gaming. Trash this lines if that's not the case.

hello Olrox. Look, I forget to write something. Yes, I have a onboard graphics pc, but the trouble is this: I have downloaded Warzone some time ago, about five or six months, and my pc had then the Vista Windows, and then the game worked perfectly. After I have to change Windows. I installed XP Professional Service Pack 3 and with this warzone doesn't work well. That is the cuestion. Thanks for your help friend

Then another guess of mine was right, about your OS. A friend of mine lost his Graphics card just last week (was a really crappy one, just a little step better than mine - good thing because now he'll force himself to buy a decent one) and is now running his pc with on-board graphics. He has exactly the same OS than you, and the exact same problem.

I can't understand why the same machine would support OpenGL by changing from Vista to XP. I'm afraid you'll have to post more detailed info and wait for someone with more computer knowledge than me to answer your question and help you to solve your problem.

The video system consists of the operating system/window manager + video driver + video hardware. If any part has problems it affects what you see on the screen.

Vista uses a compositing window manager (Aero) by default. Compositing window managers are famous for having problems with OpenGL. Turning the Aero theme off and/or upgrading the video driver often makes the problems go away.

Except for Quartz, which hasn't ever had a problem.

He is using XP now, and it was working with Vista:

Have you installed the latest drivers for your video card?

If this does not scream video driver issue, then I don't know what would.
