Objected Failed?

I'm on the Gamma campaign mission right after you have to deal with Nexus assimilating your units. I start the mission with 3 cyborgs and three tanks. A couple seconds in, it tells me I lost the mission for no apparent reason. If this has something to do with the mission where you had to escape the nuke blast by going into the valley, I cheated past that since the defenses were too strong for my units to bust through.

You should be starting that mission with whatever troops you had hunkered down in the valley at the end of gamma 2, as well as the cyborgs/tanks from the non-Nexus infected Team Gamma site. Since you ended gamma 2 non-conventionally, I am thinking that some requirement for the level has not been met.

Makes sense, I might be able to cheat past this too, don't know. I'll have to try.

Note, if you cheat, you can really screw up the game...so it isn't advised to skip levels. You need to get every artifact.

It's possible to accidentally miss one of the artifacts in the later Gamma missions, by killing a supposedly off-map Cyborg Factory before you're supposed to be able to.
