WZ 2100 does not launch on mac 10.4

Hello! Just downloaded and installed onto my ibook with osx 10.4 and yes it has x11 - though when I try to open WZ, its instantly displays the following message: "The application Warzone quit unexpectedly". What can I do?

Looking at it again, I have no idea what "EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION" means on the mac.

ok as i was playing around igot ver 2.0.4 to work and it runs fine on my laptop but the new version does not work

note: i am a programmer/web developer/system builder/power user so don't worry about computer terms

Only if your computer has decent OpenGL support. I suspect this is your problem:

Have you tried turning down WZ's texture size and maybe reducing the resolution?

my computer does have decent opengl support - it runs ver 2.0.4 at full speed but simply won't launch ver 2.2.4 therefor the problem lies in a missing dependancy or incompatibility with the current software setup and the biggest problem is (and the problem where i need help) is finding and fixing the incompatibility or dependancy.

If it was a missing dependency, the program would not load. My money is still on poor OpenGL support. What do the first few lines of glxinfo tell you?

Google says that EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION appears to be caused by memory corruption most of the time.

I do not have "glxinfo" I typed it in at terminal. Unless I have to change to a certain directory I don't have it.
Does anyone know where to get it? besides that the problem is NOT that when i launch a game it quits under graphics load. in the old version the games run full speed. the problem IS that the new version does not even open. It just bounces in the dock a while and then nothing but the "this program has crashed message" the program does not even open.
