Once again, I'm running WZ version 2.2.2 w/ NTW mod on Windows Vista.
My question is: What is with the CAM1, CAM2, etc. for vehicles, structures, an weapons that appears in the research list when you enter "give all" in debug mode? What do they do? When I click to research them, it just says research completed automatically and nothing seems to happen. I get these if I enter "give all" at the start of each of the three campaigns, but I can't find any effect when you research them. So what the heck are they there for?
Just one more question: CAM1, CAM2? Help?

They do nothing at all. They're a part of a different research system that never made it into the final game, but was never fully removed, either. We would remove them ourselves, but that would cause the problem of making you unable to open your old saved games, which is... not a good idea.NobleKnight wrote:Once again, I'm running WZ version 2.2.2 w/ NTW mod on Windows Vista.

That makes sense. I don't plan on using those cheats that much. I mainly wanted to see if they would give me those techs from multiplayer and just see how that changes the experience of the campaign. Thanks again.Zarel wrote:They do nothing at all. They're a part of a different research system that never made it into the final game, but was never fully removed, either.
