From myexperince wz2100 seems rather unstable on 64 bit systems, with seemingly random crashes after about one to two hours. I've experineced these on different systems, both when playing in skirmish, hosting or joining a network game (and created bugreports at least for the network case). On the other hand I have not seen any such random crashes on 32 bit systems. All these were Debian GNU/Linux systems.
What is your experince of wz2100 stability versus architecture of the system used (be it 32 vs. 64 bit, big-endian vs. little-endian or whatever)?

Re: Stability on 64 bit systems
I've played it for about 2 hours straight on my Windows 7 x64 system, both last night and again this morning. I was playing one-player skirmish games and using the stable release.
No problems noted.

Do you, by any chance, have any crash reports?

Re: Stability on 64 bit systems
Unfortunately I don't have a recent crash report, but it it seems to be the same or similar to what I reported about beta 4 in bug report #1251 and maybe #1254.
I'll keep the crash dump and file another bug next time I encounter the problem in a current version.

Played with beta 8 for about 4 hours today. No crashes, and no horridly aberrant behavior on the part of the AI. Again, I'm on Windows 7 x64. Perhaps it has to do with Linux vs Windows?

Just when I have a crash report (#1481), another beta gets released. Seems warzone evolves faster than I can play it.
