selecting defenses
selecting defenses
well i dont know if this exist in the game but i played some skirmishes but you know a lot of defensive structure attacking just one unit at once come on some rts have this option if you select one defensive structure you could attack any you want if the enemy is in the range that coul be good because if you have a lot of lancers towers you can select them and target the enemy you want instead of all the lancer towers firing just one tank and the same for mortars, bunkers etc i dont know if that exist in this game but i selected one of my lancers hardpoints but he dont attack the enemy i selected they auto fire to the first unit they see if you could put something to selcet them like the tanks in game that could be good
lo siento yo no hablo ingles disculpen mis errores

Re: selecting defenses
TL;DR: Targetable defense.
Re: selecting defenses
It's on my "to do" list.
I think it's on the FPI list, too.

Re: selecting defenses
Hmm. Perhaps XP for defense structures too? Only if implemented, the XP required to level up should be equal to commander requirement per level. 16 for Green, 32 for Trained, etc. Or, make it higher! Likely a good idea because defenses usually have more survivability than equivalent units. And, raise it even more for superweapons, since they are 1-hit kills on most targets.

I don't think so. It would be complicated.Assault Gunner wrote:Perhaps XP for defense structures too?
And structures have only automatic targeting system, tanks are controlled by people that can learn and gain expirience.

WZ happened after nuclear disaster so there aren't much people alive.
And, on areas in what game is played, radiation is stil high, and lead is only way to protect from it.

Re: selecting defenses
Actually, depleted Uranium is a pretty good shield against radiation and physical damage. Maybe a T4 upgrade to defenses that puts rad shielding on towers and gives them the ability to gain XP?13KukYNexus666 wrote:I don't think so.dannystrube wrote:maybe they should put people into towers too

Re: selecting defenses
T4 is planned anyways, according to another thread, so this would just be one of them. So, just make tower XP a T4 upgrade.

Assault, I'm really tired of your spam. There's no reason unit experience should come into play only after an upgrade. Hopefully I'll see you more ingame and less on the forums.

It doesn't log me out of the forums for some reason. And anyways, MP isn't the type of game I like. I prefer campaign and skirmish. Plus, I played 1.X for a couple years prior to realizing that there were forums.
