Reassign units between commanders?

Probably something obvious I'm doing wrong... but is it possible after assigning a unit to one commander to then transfer him to another commander?

Also, if you have any other tips or important keybindings pertaining to commanders I would appreciate that. Commanders are really cool but sometimes I wonder if I'm making the most of them.

BTW, Warzone 2100 is an awesome game. Kudos to the devs.

You have to right click on the unit then click on the commander you want to assign the unit to. If this doesn't work then right click on the unit, left click on the ground, then left click on the commander you want to assign the unit to.

You unassign it first (right-click unit, then click on ground, or ctrl+click unit, then click on ground), before assigning it to another commander.
