Any ideas?
I am running Ubuntu 9.04, with a Intel Q9000 and a Quadro FX 2700 M, and I experienced no other sound problems.

You use pulseaudio?

No idea. How do I check? I just noted that the "PulseAudio sound server" package in Synaptic isn't installed, so I guessed that meant I am not using Pulseaudio.-Kosh- wrote: That is the default for ubuntu. What are you using then?
No. I can play other vorbis-encoded sound and videofiles fine though, so I guess it can't be a missing codec?-Kosh- wrote: Can you play the videos ok with a external player?
Any ideas what could then be the problem?
